2020 has been a tough year for the world at large. Wearing masks and social distancing became the new normal. But with the news of effective vaccines coming around, it is my hope that 2021 will be filled with love and hugs, just like these Chocolate Red Wine cupcakes that seem to be enjoying their boozy injections.
I absolutely love the concept of the 3-colour Twist cupcakes
that SDC has launched on their menu. It gives the Classic Vanilla and Classic Chocolate an edge over the basic. My Holi art was inspired from exactly this...Vanilla and Chocolate playing Holi with multiple colours and turning their friends into Vanilla Twist and Chocolate Twist.
SDC decided to make Rose Pistachio and Strawberry as two of their signature cupcakes for this year's Valentine's day special box. I thought how cool would it be if they were a couple and Rose proposed to Strawberry with some real roses? Of course, they can't marry but it would be delicious to just eat each other. Yummy!
India is such a diverse country and this is most clear from the various floats that participate from different states and groups in the annual Republic Day parade. This year, a set of cupcakes decided to stand for inclusivity by taking out a float showcasing their diverse flavours amongst the happy cupcake crowd while saluting our national flag with pride. What a beautiful celebration of democracy!
